Dec 201225 Russian river gold?. Why not?
Has anyone ever been mining on the Russian river anywhere around ukiah or Hopland areas? I see that there have been a couple claims of gold around these areas but wanted to hear anyone's experience or why there is no gold ? Any reasons ? All the signs are there quartz black sand.

Mendo, there is a nice little creek 8 miles from my house. No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to make any gold appear in my pan. It is where it is buddy! Bring your fishing pole.
