Does anyone have any information on silver extraction on a small scale. So say i find a vein of heavy silver ore which is very rich i know the ore mist be crushed and refined via chemical or temperate processes but does anyone do this? Silver is abundant in many states and ore varies in form from hardrock to sludgy hardpack clay like formations. My basic question is where is there info on small scale production and is it possible for the experinced prospector totake advantage of this metal and end up with some shiny silver bars. I have a small foundry and would love some chunks of retirement!
